“The Winterless North”YEAH, RIGHT!Booked sometime ago to donate blood at Dargaville tomorrow morning, seemed like a good excuse to drag the 'Strom outta the garage.Captain Soft has just stuffed the thermal liners in his gear, and from the feel of the legs below his footy shorts when he went to get the gear from the garage, he'd better make another trip outside and cover his new tree tomato plant, too.We thought it was warm up here: what happened? Guess it must be global warming!$%(&?!

Auckland will have 2 degrees overnight… 2… that's right near the bottom of the usual range for Auckland, even in winter!

Used to pedal through -3 or so to get to work in Mangere, but I think my blood has thinned out with all the G & T you have to drink up here in the tropics to keep Malaria at bay.Sun's just coming up, and I'll be able to uncover the Tree Tomato before I go see the blood suckers.
