Its taken me 10 Brass Monkeys to get this, 2300kms, but well worth trying .just spent 12 days riding and having fun with 5 othersDarryl on a 2006 R1100s, Murray on a 96 R850, Mike on a 2010 F800gs Ross on a 96 Triumph tiger and Kevin on a92  Kawasaki Voyager .We even did some dirt roads ,weather was awsome more like summer

Well done Darryl.  I was always a little unsure whether it should have been me or you getting the trophy back in 1996 but I guess I shouted loudest eh  ;).  I've just done a google search and as close as I can tell we were both 1488 ks so it could have been either – ah well them's the breaks.  Anyway I'm thrilled to hear you've finally nailed it and can now retire.

Sorry to intrude, but is that the Crown Range road in the second picture or is there another set of hairpins I can aspire to visiting some day?Ta,Andy
