    Just found these bags on trademe. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/Motorbikes/Parts-for-sale/Panniers-luggage/auction-217037962.htm they are excellent for adventure rides. On you don't want to carry hard luggage or a lot of luggage.I have no affiliation with the seller, but I am using a similar bag my self and like it a lot. *edit* sorry, I had the wrong setting

    20 litres. clearly made for BMW luggage sytems. not big enough

    True, but you get two and he also sells a 31 litre size. Most people carry way too much stuff.
