This 1967 bike was privately imported into NZ from the U.S around 1988 and was owned by a Bill Mc L… (I have not found any reference in membership lists of his Register membership.)The bike was black with white pinstripe.The saddle bags are a US aftermarket similar in style to Corbet Beetlebags he made for the R1200C.
I think this may be Bill McLellan and have just spoken with him. His memory is a little blurred but he definitely owned such a machine although he can't remember the fairing being on it. He sold to Brian Barnsley and thinks it then went to Brent Mander. Bill's number (he thinks) was 87. Hope this helps.PS just in case you still can't find him you will find both him and Enid in plenty of the older (last century) AGM group photos.
Well I can tell you Bill and Enid are but not for much longer,they're leaving for good in a couple of weeks time. Will miss them, especially Bill's knowledge of the bikes and the OR and his dry scottish humour.
