In another post Malcolm G described me as having deserted, but I see myself as unable to afford to flirt with German motorsickles any more, so I've had to revert to the “Real Thing” on the basis of Index of Cost.But I'm still a member of BMWOR, and I'm still taking rides, and going on other peoples' rides. To which end:
- Bwucie's Traditional Waitangi Day visit to the Okoroire Pub will depart from Caltex Bombay at 1000 hours on 06 Feb (of course!) The Librarian is almost sure to be there on the Burgman, so the convoy speed of advance will be modest.
- In the tradition of the Great Steve Bell Ice Cream challenge, a circuit of the Coromandel, with lunch at Coromandel and (compulsorily oversized) ice creams at Kuaotunu - body surfing optional, but highly recommended.Leaving Autobahn, SH1 Southbound Service Centre, Papakura at 0900 Sun 03 Mar
