    Does anybody on the OR have any experience of having exhaust header pipes ceramic coated?It’s something I’m considering for the 1150, and I thought it was worthwhile asking the question.CheersJohn

    I have considered it. There is a company in south Auckland who does it.

    Thanks Alex,I've seen the website before, and it certainly looks like the sort of thing I'm after, but I was interested to know if anybody had any first hand experience of the ceramic coatings.If not, I might have to volunteer the 1150 to act as Guinea Pig.  The good thing is that the prices seem to be reasonable when compared with what I've seen quoted on other forums.

    Some guys on advrider have done it. It certainly looks better than what I've got now and like you've said, the price is reasonable. However, I am not too concerned with cosmetics, I guess I am too lazy for that. I like to look after my stuff, but I am not anal about it. If you do take the plunge, I am cetainly interested on how happy you are with the result.
