    I have taken a R1100 t for a test ride and found the bike buzzy from 110 km up , by this I mean a buzzy vibration through the seat that seemed to increase with speed . I have a K1200 and I realise these are totally different engines, but is this a common trait of the boxer engine . Thanks for any comments Les

    Not that I have a huge amount of experience with R bikes, and none at all with K's, but I suspect it might be a case of …  “don't worry Sir, they all do that”.The more I read about and ride R bikes the more it seems to be the case that they thrive on hard work and regular oil changes, but they do have a certain ... character.If the buzzing at 110 kph is a problem, try going faster ... 😀

    Well it started at 110 and at 130 was very buzzy Les

    I experienced a rpm-sensitive buzzing which turned out to be a loose fairing screw which allowed its washer to vibrate.

    LesI have clocked up 90,000km an my R11RT and it is only buzzy if throttles are out of sync, or small pebble lodged by cable.Same deal with my R11RS. It wasn't buzzing when I had it up to 200 last week.Note: the dealer method of syncing throttles it no where near as accurate as my Motion Pro mercury synchronizer.Best check TPS setting too, as some where set way off at the factory.

    i have not noticed any “buzzing” from my rt but will pay attention next time im out.

    There is some buzzing through the grips on the 1200gs and the 1200rt. I never found any on the 1150gs.
