Thats a new one Alex, have you been exploring ?
This destination is a recommendation from Warwick. I thought you guys might like a few new destinations.
Great stuff! We need never go to a place twice, there are many we havent tried yet. 😀
AnonymousInactive02/08/2007 at 8:53 amPost count: 286What time were you planning to meet up Alex? Is anyone else taking the long way there in the morning?
AnonymousInactive03/08/2007 at 7:59 amPost count: 286Disregard the second part of the question Alex, I've got the months mixed up, we're at the beginning of August.
During lunch rides there is no official departure point or time. But if the weather is reasonable we could meet up and ride together. By clicking on modify, you should be able to edit your own posts should you wish to make changes.Cheers,Alex
AnonymousInactive19/08/2007 at 1:17 amPost count: 84I'd like to join this trip as first-time club rider- please suggest a suitable time to arrive Tuakau- I don't want to be too early/late. Will be coming from Whangaparaoa via motorway on K1100LT (ex-cop bike).
Hi Bryan,if you arrive there at 12pm you should be spot on. Cheers,Alex
AnonymousInactive29/08/2007 at 12:23 amPost count: 305Hey just a thought. The 2007 Classic Motorcycle Grand Prix is on at Pukekohe this Sunday as well. Perhaps an after-lunch destination?Lots of opportunities to look at, admire, talk about, and drool on heaps of air-cooled motorbikes, if there is anyone here on the forum so inclined!
AnonymousInactive29/08/2007 at 8:34 pmPost count: 286Yeah I'll join you. I was planning to head South of Puke for a look around. I may do that before lunch.
Good ride today, thanks for the company. Those sandwiches were amazing. Thanks to Dave for pointing out that the races were on, so we took some of that in as well.
AnonymousInactive02/09/2007 at 8:41 amPost count: 305Yeah, GREAT sandwiches! Triple-decker is standard! Here's Deb with hers…Good racing as well. We expect to see Des below 1:19 next month!!Dave
AnonymousInactive02/09/2007 at 10:50 amPost count: 286Yeah right.1.19 sounds a bit optimistic. I only have an 800 Dave, and I'm a Novice. Should be fun though. The food was great at Kaos Cafe and of course if you order the BLT as Deb did you'll find it's big. I'd stop there again.Wasn't it great to see the old bikes out racing and the showroom condition vintage Japanese bikes. Does anyone know of a good place to buy bungs/ sliders etc. I need some for the 800.
