They are also ripping the Germans off. They have to pay $27000 for the base model without any of the fancy gear. I can't believe you've let yourself get ripped off like that, didn't you shop around?

I didn't get ripped off on my new bike. The trade in and change over was more than fair. 🙂 I can see a very cheap 450 on its way. I'll be in Hawaii in August. The BMW warranty is world wide. 😀

It's not that bad. If there was group the 450 could come back in bits as luggage 🙄

Where would you ride an Adventure in Hawaii?  The big island is less than 1/10th the size of our North Island, and a good portion of THAT is volcanoes and national parks.  I think if you lived there, your bike would soon get bored.

I agree Dave, but the 450 would be fun, there are a lot of great inland trails to ride on the big island.

I thought you already had the 450 on order? How is that belly pan coming on? The CCA is a good day out.

At that price it was on order. BMW Santa Cruz say the skid plate will not be available for at least a month. 😕

Hawaii is one of two free shipping entry points for NZ. The other port is Amercian Samoa. This makes it a lot easier to get goods in and out

If your after a good deal, have a look on ebay. I've seen a couple of 1200 GSA's on there for $8k US… from a dealer. Got to love demo's. 😛
