This will be a test for the new G series Enduro. The 'Päijänneajot' is part of the Finnish enduro championship and is an extreme race that takes place for three days over a distance of approximately 900 kilometres. It's a staunch challenge as weather conditions can be severe and the terrain can range from deep snow to wet swamps, making it a serious test for bikes and their riders.The BMW enduro team has two participants this year, Stefan Collin from Finland and Peter Andersson from Sweden.The Päijänneajot takes place from 30 March to 1 April and will involve more than 200 riders. The G 650 Xchallenge is to be launched to the international press in February and should be in dealers from mid-March onwards.Will keep you posted on how the BMW team do.
