I was out on sunday for a we ride, as most sundays when i came across a biker down on the busy costal highway. Oh shit first on spot again, step one is he ok not to bad only cut and bruises. What had caused the crash was his chain had snapped and jamed between the swing arm locking the back wheel which spat him off. He was lucky as the bike ended up on the wrong side of the road but if a car or bike had been coming the oppisite way from him it would have been a total diffrent story.
The bike had no Reg / Warrant / or insurance and the bike had no service for a long time, the front tyre was completely bald as

Just be careful out there as you dont know whats just up the road or around the corner coming towards you. If i had been 5 seconds faster he would of had me side on and taken my wheels out from under me.

I am glad he survived alright. What a stupid thing to do though. Like you said, he could have taken someone else out. Knock on wood that it won’t happen to us.
