I was in at Experience today and they had an overseas 1150GS in for service and it had a custom built 36 litre tank on it.It was the original tank which had been modified and it was an extremely good job, you couldn't tell that it was not original equipment, someone is a real craftsman.I used to think that the Adventure tank was big but this was huge.

Was it Belgian registered and Graphitan (submarine grey) by any chance?I do recall seeing an 1150 with a modified tank in town not so long ago.It looked like the tank had been sliced open around the bottom of the frontal lobe area and then flared out to increase the capacity. As you say Jim, it did look like a very nice job, and not like anything that I've seen before.

Yes it was graphitan colour and had a yellow number plate but don't know where it was from.
