This is hideousI'm getting cold feet with my purchase of the 450. They are talking in England of a 1,000 pound service every 70 hours for the 450. I can understand high servicing cost if you race the bike, but for casual riders I hope they have a better servicing plan. Other wise it will be back to the drawing board. I may even look at the 650x or dear I say it. 😛 No I can not Dave!!!

You never keep a bike for that long Dean so servicing shouldnt be a problem 🙄
AnonymousInactive27/09/2008 at 1:06 pmPost count: 286You could also put BMW stickers on the white plastics. You have to admit the KTM's are pretty appealing. As is the new Husky TE450 (there's a review in the October Kiwirider as well). And a review of the BMW F650GS(800).

The white KTM looks good, and it doesnt have a big bung in the middle of the seat !!!

Can which go in the rain, the BMW or the KTM?Dave, I meant to post the Husaberg then grabbed the details from the Kiwirider mag in my confusion. The Husaberg's an interesting machine isn't it? (And the upmarket KTm I see it being referred to).You have to admit, regardless of brand there are a lot of interesting bikes arriving and coming. For those of us interested in bikes it's kind of like Christmas over and over and over. With cars you just get more of the same. With bikes it's wow and wow!. Car maufacturers can take some time to learn from bike makers on how to get customers passionately involved.

Only if they throw away 2 wheels not counting the spare Phil
