I rode a 750cc once only once, first time took bike out with head instructor. I think the thought I had bad attitude. After they saw how good I was on it they always gave me a new BMW. Was it not the Hondas that were the bucking bronco circus animals. At the time I had brought a brand spanking new R100RS back from my OE. (bike is still around. numberplate is 88RRS nd some one put a R100RT fairing on it. should be castrated) Bought it at Parkland BMW darrrrrrrrrrrrrrling, taxfree after I had done a quick lap of europe on a 77 R100RS

It is all about the natural frequency that the bike resonates at.  Lots of things alter that tire brand, speed weight on front wheel (ie whether you have a pillion)I use to get it bad on a R1100RS I had a few years ago, especially down hill. If I took the weight off Both handle bars . One hand back on with a firm grip was all the damping force required for it to disappear  I lived with it but recommend fix’s were try different handle bar weights ie the weights inside the handle bars right at each end of the bars or a hydraulic steering damper I haven’t seen one for a long time but they use to be common on the old two stroke Mach 3 Kawasaki and the like
