    HiI have an R1200ST, new from 2005. I'm starting to lose the backlights from the tacho and info side of the instrument cluster, so far the speedo is unaffected. Anybody else have this, or no where it can be repaired?

    I had the same problem on my GS1150 and I traced it to the connection in the wiring loom around the headstock area where all the single earths from the clock light bulbs are joined togeather and soldered to the main earth wire.Took them appart,cleaned them up,re soldered them and re taped the loom 2 Hrs work sorted.Hope this helps.RegardsDave

    Hi Rincewindmany thanks for the heads up on this. I was hoping it might be something simple rather than a complete tear apart and try and replace LED's.As they say, hopefully many minds can make lights work...regardsGreg
