i am once again the proud owner of an 1150cc machine. for god knows how long (50K+!), i have ridden it with a faulty primary plug coil (twin spark boxer). poor idle, poor power etc. i guess i have been putting up with about 1 1/3 working cylinders, equivalent of 750cc motor?thanks to Sebastian and the team at Experience BMW, the resurrection of my machine has made it a pleasure to ride again. i did not realise how much I was "riding around" the shortcomings of my bike. i contacted them on their website to arrange a long overdue service and explain my woes. Sebastian responded promptly with excellent logical suppositions, best estimates and proposed appointment. the courtesy bike was ready and all to plan. yes! a few issues to get the old girl purring again, but everytime a prompt call or email to explain and seek authority to proceed (bit more labour and parts,$). Totally confidence inspiring. finally picked her up after 120Kkm service and two full days on the workbench. wasn't cheap, but have to say, money well spent with excellent SERVICE from Sebastian and his team.the new depths of trouble I can get into with so much power again astound me. watch out!

AnonymousInactive12/03/2013 at 11:48 pmPost count: 66sure does feel good, thanks.i feel confident at low speed manoeuvres since it doesn't stall and drop on me. "twists and turns" (Ulysses training session) here I come. happy to let others use/try my bike since it is no longer such a trick to manage. all i need now is to show restraint of my "twist of the wrist". a big fast bike again.
