I've just uploaded a bunch of photos from the Rally. We had a great time and I'd have no trouble living down there. Barry did a first class job organizing the event. The venue was outstanding and it was a very good turn out. Thanks also to Garry and fellow ride leaders. Gerda and I only did the Thomson Track with the group. The next day we ended up on our own little adventure ride. Here are a few pictures from down there, followed by a few random ones from out trip. I might add some words later. The view from our window at the Golden GateUnfortunately, my camera threw a wobbly every now and then, and a lot of good photos got lost.DSC03382.jpg John at St BathansDSC03387.jpgThe Vulcan, live long and prosper ;DDSC03389.jpgThe lakeDSC03393.jpgArty shotDSC03396.jpgBefore the Thomson Track, it was hotDSC03401.jpgIt's not hard on the eyesDSC03402.jpgIan and other peopleDSC03405.jpgDSC03404.jpgDSC03408.jpgDSC03413.jpgDSC03406.jpgDSC03412.jpgDSC03415.jpgRelaxing after the ride. I even have a fuzzy (thankfully) shot of the naked guy that chased the Interislander ferry on his jet ski in the Sounds.

Thanks for those Alex, looks like another great rally.  Might have to give Barry and team a full time job eh.

Thanks for the pics Alex. The Golden Gate makes a great subject dawn or dusk, shame about the lost shots because of the camera.  Looks like a terrific rally relaxing and scenic and good company too boot. And it gets better no nasties I here you say?happy events come from great organising 🙂 8)
