Dear Mrs and Mrs BoGSer,My trusty GS had been driving me to work at the central Police Station since EQ1, and more recently through EQ2.Daffy (my GS) laughs at liquifaction, even when I can't. I have been close to tears many times since 22 Feb, mainly at the bleak months ahead. Daffy just keeps ticking over, eating potholes and shredding dust storms. The fate of my city is uncertain, but I always know I can head to the garage, push the go button and Daffy comes through for me.Ka kite.

I hope your house is ok. I am sure your job has been hell since the second one, so hopefully you have an intact home. I bet those pictures on tv don't do it justice.

Our house was trashed in EQ1. These days I commute in and out from Rangiora. EQ2 left us unscathed. Not sure if I feel lucky or not.
