    The BMWOR is a sponsor of this year's Pukemanu Adventure Ride, and I can't wait! The Pukemanu is New Zealand's second oldest organised Adventure Ride. Some of you will remember the last time it was run in 2004, eh Postie  😉This one day ride covers approximately 300kms of gravel roads, sandy beach, farm tracks, forestry roads and some tar seal. The Pukemanu has a proud history of delivering stunning Wairarapa scenery and old fashioned country hospitality with a route that is rideable two-up for a competent rider. The ride is open to all motorcycles with current registration and Warrant of Fitness. Comprehensive course notes are issued and all participants must attend a safety briefing and sign an indemnity form.All the details and how you go about booking are at http://www.pukemanuadventureride.co.nz/If you have a GS, and don't mind getting it grubby, this is a "must do".See you there  ;D

    Thanks for posting that. I've been toying with the idea, but it will depend on whether I can get a day off work.
