I got a letter about this recall and I was told that for my bike it was so they could fit stickers to the inside of the handguards warning you to make sure the guards didnt rub on the brake or clutch levers which could wear out the brakes or clutch prematurely.Next will be a sticker asking you to hold onto the handlebars when riding !!!!  😕

Whats up with BMW here? I know you will tell them what to do with the stickers and fix them correctly.

It's a PC world we live in Jim.  They stuck them on mine after a service in December then after my oopsie through the Molesworth when I scratched the right hand guard they replaced the whole caboodle with the fancy two tone ones off the latest models.  I don't like them much but was told they aren't making the originals any more so that's what you get.
