I wonder if it would be useful to include another column to the member list where owners could register their model(s) be it current or past? Just something that popped into my thoughts – nothing sinister intended. 😐

Interesting thought Red, that was sort of how the “Register” came to be.  Perhpaps that should be “why” the Register came to be.  As I understand it the BMW owners had some problems sourcing parts and gear back in the dark days so a few got together and started getting stuff in to the country themselves and eventually came up with the idea of a register of bikes and their owners.  Of course we still do that every year on our renewal forms but it's not quite as important now but I have to say since the ozzies took charge we seem to have less and less  contact with BMW unless they want us to change our logo or something else really important.

A fair bit I'd say Jim, I just get on the internet and order and it can be here withing days from just about anywhere on the globe. Who needs BMW NZ?

Same!I just ordered filters and shocks off Trademe, and carb rebuild kits from the states.  Love the internet.  But, to be fair, Neil has the personal touch.DTY

I agree Dave, I'd go as far as to say he's their top man – nothing is ever a problem and he is totally reliable.
