My apologies to all those I abandoned at Whangarei: my headache was so bad I wasn't properly fit to make good decisions about riding my own machine, let alone considering everyone else on the ride.  Never mind, I got home alive.I will post some of the photos when the migraine recedes, not fit to download and sort them at the moment.

A fair cop from the cop.  At least I am back on the pushbike this morning, and therefore pose less risk to the members of the public.  Still crook, though, so I have an excuse to stay away from reach trucks and high level order pickers today - should thrill my bosses.

Hmm, interesting, I will put some (very small) samples up in a few minutes, but on the first corner left, uphill, all riders except UncaMoose had good, upright, head position.  Let the family down, Bro-in-Law, need some head Viagra to keep it upright.  Second set of photos, left switching to right, most heads drooping a bit (incl. UncaMoose), and all slow to change angle for the upcoming right, except UncaMoose, who comes out of his slump and right onto the next vanishing point, thereby redeeming himself.

The photos below are much smaller than originals, and only very lightly edited to display on screen.  Although I and my headache got the sun in the wrong place, there is heaps you can do with the original files with a modest image editor. How to get them to you (too big for email)?  If you tell me which bike and rider you are, I could upload the shots of you and your hoss to a site where you can download them, or I could put all 186 photos on my netbook, and you could all bring a usb stick to the next Register meeting, or you could call past my home and run them onto your stick off my desktop: your call.

"Oh, yeah, your bike has one of them, too.

Nice to hear you made it home safely Bwucie. Another top ride and a great team to ride with. When you are feeling better, can you please slide the bicyclist back into centre frame  😮 where I found him mid corner. Big thanks to Young Jim, who incidently would rather walk than ride a Harley along Route 66, for leading us home via Waipu, Mangawhai and Orewa. Cheers, Herr and Frau Baron.

I can totally understand YoungJim: last time I looked at a map Route 66 was in the US of A, than which I can think of no other place I would ever less want to visit, as for Harleys, if I wanted to ride a tractor, I'd stick with McCormick-Deering or Massey Harris Fergusson. You remind me that I have forgotten to thank YoungJim and UncaMoose for bringing the ride home, so I do. Ta, gents.

I have to say very enjoyable day. Interesting in excution and every one informed each other of intentions (leaving or catching at some other point ) And the head droop is probably more to find the sniper in the bushes so one could figure the next plan.
