The route will be Mangawhai Village, Kaiwaka, Brynderwyns,Whangarei, Kamo, Kawakawa, Opua, Russell.The return will be by way of the Old Russell Road, through Oakura rejoining SH1 at Whakapara. Then we retrace our steps and come back through Waipu, Langs and on to Mangawhai Heads.Meeting Place: outside Mangawhai Fish and Tackle, Wood Street, opposite Scotty’s Four Square.Time: 8.50 for a 09.00 start.This is not a race. If you want to race it, that will take place the previous day, or the next day, or the day after: you choose.The rules are simple: same as Ulysses, BMWOR and Patriots MC: keep behind the RIC (Rider in Charge), who for this ride will be Peter Brodeur. If you get in front of him, just keep going and don’t bother coming back, as they say in the Patriots MC. We leave together and we arrive together.Some regular members, such as Robert Scott and John Rankin will be manning the shop and won’t be able to make it, but we welcome our newest recruit, Richard Holden, who we hope will be able to join us.
