    Meet at Westgate for a 9.30am departure. We'll decide on the day where to have lunch.     so what is meant by this broad statement.eg. leaving NZ or some other lesser but not as preferred option. (by me that is)  👿and re Dean ,leave him alone. at least being a westie he can sort of spell.

    Good 😮 now come and ride gravel with me 😀 As you realised on our last gravel ride we were enjoying the ride so much we never got to lunch until 2pm

    may want to avoid town basin area of whangarei on sunday as fun run /walk on.  if wanting nice gravel ride may i suggest some roads to get you there.  3km north of kaiwaka turn left( mountain rd) will come out just before maungaturoto-turn left 400m (sh12) turn right (docters hill rd)follow to t juction turn left (waipu gorge rd)follow to 2nd rd right(goldern stirs rd)comes out on paparoa/oakleigh rd go straight head (taipupa station rd)follow to t juction turn right (central rd)follow to juction turn left (mason rd)follow to 1st rd left (stead rd) follow to t juction turn right (waikiekie rd) take 2nd rd(1km) turn left (waikiekie nth rd)comes out on paparoa/oakleigh rd(sealed) turn left take next right(1km) (ruarangi rd)comes out on mangapai rd (sealed) turn left take 1st right (2km)(hayward rd) comes out on maungakaramea rd (sealed) turn right follow to sh1 turn right and its about 8km to whangarei  hope you enjoy  some are ex-wrc rally roads  have to work otherwise would love to join you  roads vary in amounts of gravel on surface but most are good  have plenty more options if you would like and a  small return trip if required  the road guys can go via paparoa/oakleigh rd- tauraroa rd-maungakaramea rd  roadworks nth side of brynderwyn hill at bottom  john
