    Hi there, I am a newbie to this forum stuff , Been riding bikes and quads for 40 odd years but just bought my first bmw 18 months ago and I still buzz everytime I throw my leg over that seat .I am riding a red 1200 gs (what a bike).So I have made the first step to jion in with the forum instead of sitting back and just looking.

    Welcome to the forum. The R1200GS is a wonderful bike. I am not surprised that you like it. You might want to fill in your user profile, so that other members can see where you live. It often helps to know a person's location when they need advice or talk about rides. If you're in Auckland, we have a ride to Kawhia this Sunday.

    I knew a guy with the nick name NOD. Loved im old Kawasakis. Also loved riding up and down the Auckland Motorway a lot. Hope thats not you. Next step could be a HD old man 😀

    No I am not the mentioned rider,Find motorways boring, Rather ride a good set of twisties.
