Experience BMW currently has an R1200HPS on display. Well, at least it did a couple of days ago. What an amazing bike, the new owner is one lucky boy. Better include a photo pinched from the net 🙂

AnonymousGuest02/04/2009 at 3:47 amPost count: 2134Hmmmm, 'twould take a giant-killing motorbicircle to wean me off my (currently broken) R1100s.When I was talking to Neil Walsh the other night (Mr All Things parts @ Experience) he said I should come in and have a shufti before it went to the customer. I said not, because if I go into bike, boat, or surf shops I want to buy everything I can see - not really true, BUT........................Damn, that is SEXY! The photo gives me the same sensation as when I saw the first photo of an R1100s - gotta have it, NOW would be good!I have actually seen a few R1200s's in the flesh, even thrown my leg over one: feels more comfortable than the eleven-hundy, but totally they don't light my fire. On the other hand, the R1200HPS, "Henry, when can I get one?"Oh my, oh my. Please let it be gone from the showroom when I go to pick up the eleven-hundy when it's fixed, I could be in SO much trouble here.

The current model has the skinny, clear indicators that is now standard on the F800 series bikes. This improves the already brilliant looks from this web-picture!Peter K12GT/F800GS
AnonymousGuest09/04/2009 at 5:47 amPost count: 2134I had a look at the bike today it looks great you can not beat the boxer look . I was told the new owner is going to put the bike away and will not be registered. Only 30 are coming down under with Australia having 70 confirmed orders.
AnonymousGuest09/04/2009 at 6:17 amPost count: 2134“I was told the new owner is going to put the bike away and will not be registered”Isn't that crime against humanity? There are 43,000 $reasons$ why I will never have one, but imagining I could afford one, I most certainly wouldn't just put it on the mantelpiece! 😕 😕 😕
