First, of course, having so many folks looking to you for a direction, a purpose, if you will. Then there's that sense of responsibility. That can certainly be a rush if you let it get into your head. But it's more than just a responsibility, it's a balance, the balance between keeping it fun for the faster riders and the will to keep from going too fast and leaving too many behind. Then, there's assigning the "Tail-end-Charlie". How can this be done diplomatically? Should I ask for volunteers, or just assign it so someone on a GS?
