Hi,Has anyone tried to remove or got experiance in removing the muffler and collector box from an R850R or R1150R ? I tried to remove mine, but there are two tabs welded on to the front part of the collector box, that are fastened by two allen head screws that I cannot move?I undid the two captive nuts, but try and screww out the allen head screw and it seems impossible - are mine just tight or am I doing something wrong?I have undone the two clamps from the exhaust pipes and the one by the footpeg that holds the muffler, but these two tabs have to be undone to get the exhust off.Appreciate any help.

Do you have Allen head sockets? The little spanners that come in the toolkit are probably not big enough. I was going to suggest heat because they may have used loctite, but the heat from the cat would have loosened the loctite a long time ago.
