Evening all, finally got off the bike to introduce myself. Currently riding (last 2 years) a 2000 650GS,ex NZ motorcycle rentals, has just rolled over 128,000Km and still running well. Repair / maintainance to date includes, side stand switch, unloader relay, chain and sprockets, tyres, and a whole lot of 98 octane. Spent last weekend plumbing in a scott oiler, hope this increases chain life… well enough from me, back to plan next weekends destination.Cam

welcome to the site Cam – your GS sounds to be giving you good service. I had a Scott Oiler on a DR350 I owned and found it very good. Cheers Aslan

Hi Cam, welcome to the forum. You look like you are part of the more adventurous riders around. Which town do you live in? Hopefully you're close to Auckland and can join us on the next excursion.Cheers,Alex

Good point. I'll get to it as soon as I've finished checking the valves on Gerda's 650.

Thanks, guys. I'm out east in botany. Looking forward to a ride with you all, have been tagging along with the Triumph RAT guys, father out-law has a bonnie…. Planning on attending the next meeting in Nov. to show face and all. It's a shame im busy this weekend, as a ride to taupo is never out of the question!
