Hi, I am looking for a new Adventure helmet and thinking of the new Shoei, or Arai Hornet. Anyone got one? Woundering if they are too noisey or leak.  Any comments appreciated Cheers

I've got the new Shoei Hornet and love it. It doesn't leak and the wind noise is bearable, you should wear ear plugs anyway. I use it every day. The only problem I had was that the screws holding the visor have fallen out twice now. They need to be checked occasionally.

I've no complaints with the BMW Enduro I use every day, better than my Shoei and very similar to the Arai TourX. Get whatever's comfortable for you and at a price you can live with.

I have enjoyed using the Nolan adventure helmets for many years, affordable and versatile.

Try using "LOCTIGHT" (Wrong spelling) you can get a weak one, better still take it in to an Optometrist and ask them to put a dab on the screws. Regards Phil

I have just invested in the new BMW enduro helmet; i commute from Tauranga to Rotorua every day thru the Pyes Pa road… I think its the best helmet ive ever owned... I do wear ear plugs all the time so noise is irrelevant anyway.. but i still beleive its better than both my AGV St George and my Shoei..... Is light and v comfortable... Just make sure you feel comfortable in it and dont take any notice of the sizes... they are v small ..(Or i got v fat:-)))))

I have just received my BMW enduro helmet as well. I have waited 2 years for mine as all the sizing they have had in the white blue have been too small. The helmet is just in time for the 450x next month. The great thing is I won the helmet at the 2006 BMWOR AGM. The colour matches the 450 well. 🙂83_A0056420_large.jpg
