Hi allI am thinking of going on a bit if a ride tomorrow as the weather looks great 🙂The rough plan is to leave Napier/Hastings at about 9am, head South and investigate a few new gravel roads (including a stock track that is a public road, complete with 3 or 4 fords) near Makaretu and Ashley Clinton to Dannevirke (should be there about lunchtime) and then out to the coast via Maunga and Te Uri roads to Porangahau.Then we head up the coast to Blackhead and Kairakau Beaches before arriving back in Havelock North later that dayApprox distance in 400km with about 150km of that on the gravelThis ride would be for riders that can ride this sort of distance without any trouble, and a good range on the fuel tank. We may also need to double back in a few places, and we can out of the ride and stick to main roads at anytime, but I have lights and that is what adventure riding is about isnt it?  😀PM or email me if you are interested and I will let you know where to meet Cheers Scott
