Can anyone help, i need to replace my tyres as the last owner had a Avon road tyre on the rear and a Continential off road tyre on the front. I would like a tyre which is good on the road witht he occasional blast on gravel. Any ideas???thanks

Metzler Tourance, no competition! Superb on seal, more than adequate on firm gravel.

I replied to this but it disapeared ?However would agree totally with Tony, Metzler Tourace great allround tyre for the GS. I have tried Enduro 3, Trailwings, but none came near to the Tourance. Some of the guys have tried Anakees with good results but were disapointed in the life of them.If you are doing a lot of offroad stuff then I believe TK's and Karoo give good results but that is only comments from other riders.

I have used Tourance in the past, good milage.  Then I started to use Anakee when it came out. Good allrounder for me. 😉

+1 on the Tourance, but I've got no experience with anything else apart from a few sets of TKC80. I will go with the Tourance again, when the time comes.

I found the Tourance a bit slippery on wet tar seal changed ti Anakee's and very happy second set and actually more k's than on the original Tourance and a lot cheaper where I get them from

Tourances aren't the cheapest of options, but they work for me.

Picking tyres is like picking a bike.It is what you want to get out of it and the use . 😮
