Bwucie -thanks for the response and kind remarks.

Like you I'm knocking on 60 and it's a long time ago since I rode liitle Yamaha DT's (125 and 175) in the early 70's.

As Koko, Ian S and Garry W will attest I like to pit myself against the sheer mass of the GS's. When they're moving along they're reasonably agile it just in the tight slow stuff that a little 'chook chaser' has a lot of appeal.

Since the Capital Coast Advenutre 10 days ago I had until Sunday been dreaming of ways I could justify a smaller bike in addition to the GS

After yesterday's ride moving relatively quickly in gravel I was reminded how much fun and how capable the big GS's are - certainly not a trail bike by any means but they do a lot of things moderately well.

Glad you enjoy the 1100S - beautiful looking machines.

    Cheers Bwucie - Aslan 😀
