    Hi – me again – can anybody shed any light:-

    We will be travelling Arthur's Pass Hwy 73 headed to Metheven - a map I have shows an unsealed road which short cuts at Lake Lyndon thru to Mt Barker along Rakaia Gorge - comes out on Hwy 72 before Mt Hutt .... is this road suitable for K1200's? Or should we stick to main road to sheffield then to Metheven?

    The road is OK for a K bike as long as you can handle loose gravel. There should be car tracks to follow, but always keep in the left car track.
